Lacock Village & Abbey – Wednesday 3rd May 2017
Step back in time at Lacock, which remains largely unspoiled by the trappings of the 21st century. Explore the lime washed half-timbered and stones houses which have featured in the 2007 BBC production of Cranford and the 1995 BBC production of Pride and Prejudice, plus Lacock Abbey in the heart of the pretty village. A leisurely and interesting day out is guaranteed.

Mottisfont – Thursday 15th June 2017
Located near Romsey, ancient trees, babbling brooks and rolling lawns frame this lovely old house, an 18th century home with a medieval priory at its heart. Artists came here to relax and create their works, some still visible in the historic rooms. The gardens are a feast for all senses all year round, and it’s during this time of year that their world-famous collection of old fashioned roses flower.

Sissinghurst Gardens and Cream Tea – Tuesday 11th July 2017
This internationally renowned garden was developed by Vita Sackville-West and Sir Harold Nicolson around the surviving parts of an Elizabethan mansion. It comprises small enclosed compartments, with colour throughout the season resulting in a romantic atmosphere. The layers of colour, intimacy of different garden ‘rooms’ and rich herbaceous borders are the epitome of an English garden and provide an ever-changing picture through the seasons. A Cream Tea consisting of Fresh Scones, clotted cream and Strawberry jam, tea (supplied by Taylors of Harrogate) or coffee will be served in the Granary Restaurant.
